Service Center
Alpha Phi Omega and service go hand-in-hand! Here are some of our programs:
National Service Week
- The Fraternity has designated the first week of November as to unify Chapters with a national theme and to inspire expansion of Chapter service programs. During this week every Chapter is encouraged to carry out a new, high profile service project related to the Program of Emphasis and involving other Chapters and the community. You must submit a report to stay in good standing with the National Office.

Spring Youth Service Day
- As a yearly event, all chapters are asked to do a service project related to helping youth during the specified weekend in April, and we hope that every chapter participates!
While Spring Youth Service Day has a designated weekend, it is allowed to have your event on any other weekend in April as local campus schedules permit. You must submit a report to stay in good standing with the National Office.

National Youth Service Grant
- The idea is to encourage and inspire children and young people before problems become severe, to provide them with tools to succeed even against the odds. All Chapters of Alpha Phi Omega, in good standing, may apply for an APO Youth Service Grant. The maximum grant per Chapter is $500 and the minimum is $100.
